The Opportunity
CPP are a major player in the renewables industry and we are on a journey of winning various exciting projects and we need skilled and talented people to join our team.
The Civil Project Engineer serves two main functions within the group; the first being to provide front end tendering support. This will typically involve reviewing and development of civil concept designs whilst also liaising with external civil/structural consultants in the provision of designs on projects and tenders.
The second function is to provide operational assistance to the Project Managers and Site Managers on active projects, ensuring all civil construction works is completed on time, to specification, within budget.
Initially, you will be based on our Williamsdale BESS project, a 250 megawatt (MW) / 500 megawatt-hour (MWh) battery energy storage system (BESS), located South of Canberra.

Desired Skills and Experience
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Relevant experience as a Civil Project Engineer on High Voltage construction, particularly substation projects.
General knowledge of the High Voltage infrastructure industry, including project management, design, procurement, construction and commissioning knowledge.
Knowledge of MS Project and Project Management principles
High levels of attention to detail
Highly motivated with a logical practical and planned approach
