Program Coordinator Decarbonisation
Joining our team means you’ll be part of something that really matters. As Program Coordinator Decarbonisation, you will be based in Bentley and be responsible for supporting the delivery of decarbonization projects, providing strong program and project governance and functional support.
This is 3-year maximum term position.
Your role will include:
- Oversee program governance, coordinating project inputs and program overheads for reporting to Senior Manager Decarbonisation and other audiences as required.
- Assist in the development and ongoing management of project documentation including business cases, project management templates, schedules and cost plans including resource allocation and input to project management software
- Assist with project cost estimations, forecasting and tracking and provide financial analysis of project cost data
- Provide research and analysis of project delivery models for innovative approaches as requested
- Assess external information relevant to project development and maintain register of key information such as funding sources, new legislation or policy drivers impacting decarbonization projects
- Oversee the Project Support Officer for training and in relation to daily and monthly project governance activities
- Coordinate project meetings and workshops, including scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting minutes, decisions and action items during project meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives.
- Assist in drafting project business cases, change requests board papers, briefs, communications and other internal approvals as required.
- Develop and maintain a database of template documentation and best practice documentation for projects including budgets, schedules, plans and project status reports
- Oversee and drive continuous improvement in scope, schedule, budget and risk management
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management is desirable
- Significant experience in a project support or project coordinator role on large scale, complex infrastructure projects preferred.
- An understanding of project development through concept and options analysis.
- Experience in developing or and reviewing executive papers and approval documentation.
- Experience in managing budgets and schedules/time.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a range of projects and functions to achieve targets in a high workload environment
