An opportunity is now available for an experienced and qualified Water and Waste Treatment Plant Operator to join our Services team.

Your Role:

You will assist with the smooth running of the three Water and Sewerage Treatment Plants and associated reticulation system and Pump Stations. 

• Clean and maintain sewerage pump stations
• Operate Water and Sewerage Treatment Plants according to statutory requirements
• Maintain and secure all required tools and equipment
• Ensure all vehicles used are maintained in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition
• Perform any other tasks as requested by the Treatment Plant Supervisor

About You:

You will have a positive attitude, be a team player and have previously worked with sewerage or in a similar environment.

You also need:

• Open manual driver licence (Essential)
• Must be eligible for an Aviation Security Identification Card (Essential)
• White Construction Card (Essential)
• Certificate III in Water Operations (Essential)
• First Aid and CPR (Essential)
• Tetanus and Hepatitis A & B vaccination (Recommended)
