Supervisor Minor Construction
About the role
The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking two experienced and dedicated Supervisors Minor Construction to oversee and undertake minor construction works related to water and wastewater infrastructure. Currently, there are two opportunities available: Supervisor Minor Construction Water and Supervisor Minor Construction Wastewater.
As a Supervisor Minor Construction, you will play an essential role in delivering projects safely and efficiently while enhancing our community's water and/or wastewater services. You will supervise minor construction and maintenance works within the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area, conducting flow and pressure tests, and ensuring pipeline disinfection as necessary.
Your responsibilities include providing input on project programming and budgeting, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and team members.
You will monitor site costs, adjust work methods to stay within budget, and lead the development of your team through performance appraisals and skill enhancement opportunities. Additionally, you will efficiently plan and organise the use of construction plants and resources to support project success.

These positions may be required to be on call outside of normal working hours with payment as applicable as per the award.
