Full-time, fixed-term appointment for 3 years

About the Position: 

This is an outstanding opportunity for two (2) suitably qualified academics to join the Faculty of Society & Design at an exciting time of growth and development. As a member of academic staff the successful applicants will be responsible for contributing to teaching, research and service in the Faculty and University at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The successful applicants will also engage in professional and industry liaison and provide student support within the Faculty.  

The emphasis of the position is to undertake teaching and research in at least two of the following fields:

• Construction technology
• Building measurement/quantity surveying
• Building Information Modelling (BIM)
• Building services
• Contract administration
• Construction management

About the Person: 
The successful applicants will hold a PhD degree in a relevant field and/or have extensive relevant industry experience. It is desirable that the applicant is a member of a relevant professional body such as the RICS or Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, or be eligible for such membership.
