IMX Resources is due to start operations in Tanzania after acquiring its final drilling equipment.

The procurement of the equipment shows the company is ready to start its joint venture diamond drilling operations with Tanzanian-based drilling contractor Tandrill Limited, according to a report published by Proactive Investors.

The operations will include 15,000 metres of diamond drilling in the country. Twelve diamond drill holes, totaling 1,403.3 metres, were completed at G Zone in 2010. The current Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources at G Zone (July 2009) are estimated at 688,000 tonnes grading 0.62% nickel and 0.17% copper.
